A Stitch in Time
Craft activities for families with children aged 5yrs plus. Free, drop-in
Inspired by the techniques used to create the Bayeux Tapestry we will be creating stitched pictures to capture happy memories. All materials will be supplied, no experience necessary
These workshops are part of “Bayeux Around Britain, supported by WorldQuant’ a nationwide programme designed by the British Museum to communicate the story and significance of the Bayeux Tapestry to as many people as possible, through a network of more than 60 National Partners.
Please note, places are limited so it is first come, first served.
We support the National Year of Reading and so at every workshop you will have the chance to make a mini bookmark to use with your favourite books.
