Heather Collings Williams will be in conversation with Costume Curator Andrea Newall, recollecting her experience of being part of creating an embroidered history of Cornwall. They will explore stich and technique used to illustrate Cornish histories and mythologies as inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry.

This is a free event and will last approximately 1 hr.

This talk is part of “Bayeux Around Britain, supported by WorldQuant’ a nationwide programme designed by the British Museum to communicate the story and significance of the Bayeux Tapestry to as many people as possible, through a network of more than 60 National Partners.
