At the museum we hold many collection items relating to fishing, sailing, shipwrecks and lifesaving. The inventor of life-saving apparatus at sea, Henry Trengrouse, was a Helston man. We also hold many photographs relating to shipwrecks particularly those that took place around the coast of the Lizard, including HMS Anson.
