Volunteers’ Week (2-8 June)
Volunteers’ Week is back Mon 2 June – Sun 8 June. It’s time to celebrate all things
volunteering!
Our seventy volunteers give so much to our organisation, without them we wouldn’t be able to do
what we do. Our museum, what we do, and what we stand for, are as much a product of our volunteers’ ideas, input and hard work. Thank you to each and every one of you.

If you are interested in volunteering at the museum you can find out more about the different opportunities here: Volunteering.
Types of volunteering at the museum
Volunteers cross many age ranges and backgrounds at this museum. People volunteer here for support with training and vocation, for social contact, and because they love helping members of the public learn more about history, culture and heritage. They run our front of house operations, catalogue and care for the collections, look after the historic building, undertake research, answer enquiries, help with our IT and telephones, run our educational events and schools workshops and more besides.

Join us in thanking all the volunteers across the UK. www.volunteersweek.org
