Become a Museum Trustee

We are looking to recruit new Trustees to help us shape the future of the museum.

We’re an independent and self-sufficient educational charity that relies on grants and earned revenue, primarily from donations and shop sales, to sustain operations and ensure people from all backgrounds can benefit from the Museum of Cornish Life. Find out more about our the South Kerrier Heritage Trust here

The Board of Trustee normally meets on the last Tuesday of the month for approximately 1 hour. We are currently meeting in person with a Zoom link for those unable to physically attend. At the next AGM on 27 September 2022 several of our Trustees will be stepping down as they come to the end of their terms.

We support all new Trustees in starting in the role and aspire to be as inclusive as possible. As a museum we strive to create a welcoming environment where we champion the everyday. We recognise that openness is crucial to our success and strongly encourage applicants from all parts of our communities.

If you have any questions or would like an informal chat to find out more please contact Annette MacTavish the Museum Director on 01326 564027 or email director@museumofcornishlife.co.uk
